Spoke at the Auckland Museum today to a small but perfectly formed audience. Spoke about the Seresin (small but perfectly formed) collection of modernist photography. Despite the warning signs Julia Durkin managed to make this picture. Will we be invited back?

I once was admonished for taking a photograph of a young boy who was proudly showing me around his public library in Westport,Connecticut, USA. However when the librarian found I was from NZ and knew Margaret Mahy she immediately gave me permission to take as many pics as I liked!
